Curly Koa Wood "Pahoa" - Highly Figured Hawaiian Knife Warrior Weapon
This is a one-of-kind handcrafted extreme curl Hawaiian Koa "Pahoa" weapon. It is in the style of "Lei O Mano," a melee weapon, though it could have been used as a club it was more commonly used as a slashing weapon. A melee weapon is any weapon that does not involve a projectile meaning in normal use it is simultaneously in contact with the user and the target; melee weapons were used by "Koa" warriors for their maneuverability once in close combat. This piece was painstakingly made by hand with real shark teeth, responsibly harvest curly Koa wood, and rooster feathers.
