In 1992, Hurricane Iniki, a Category 4 Hurricane, hit the island of Kaua'i. After the storm passed, residents discovered that ALL the chickens from backyard coops and commercial egg producers had been set free. This print highlights Kaua'i’s famous free-roaming chickens, a unique symbol of the island’s wild spirit since they were set free. These vibrant birds add a playful touch to the island’s natural charm.
