This pen was painstakingly turned by KoaWood Ranch founder and artist Craig Villarrubia. He harvested, milled, and sculpted the pen before finishing it with a protective acrylic sealant that protects and gives it a beautiful glass-like gloss.

The trees being used are either downed by storms, or targeted for removal due to age-related decline and to promote the health of the surrounding trees in the forest.
