Hawaiian Koa Wood Hand-Turned Bowl with Honu Inlay

Hand-turned from authentic Hawaiian Koa wood, this medium bowl showcases nature's artistry through distinctive tiger-stripe grain patterns and warm golden-red-brown tones. The traditional silhouette features graceful curves and a stable flat base, creating both visual elegance and practical functionality. Each piece is individually numbered and crafted by hand, ensuring you own a singular heirloom rather than a mass-produced item. The rare character of Koa wood—prized for its beauty and cultural significance—makes this bowl a meaningful addition to any home, whether displayed as functional decor or treasured as an investment in Hawaiian craftsmanship.

Dimensions: 8" Wide X 2 1/2" Height, 1/4" Approx. Wall Thickness

Local Big Island artist Erick Loos painstakingly turned this wood bowl from wood that was sustainably harvest at the KoaWood Ranch. The piece is finished with Danish oil and beeswax.

All wood used comes from trees at the end of their lifecycle or that have fallen during storms. We never use wood from living trees.
