Love the look of the knife! Great feel and balance. Used it for some light “splintering”.of some local (pretty thin) Douglas Fir, it’s not made for bushcraft (wasn’t expecting it to be but…). Still a nice and beautiful tool.

It’s been a minute since I’ve walked Ala Moana mall but I did today and happened across the Koa Wood Ranch store. Stopped in to look around and talked to the sales person there and was intrigued by the mission and several pieces in the store. I am a bit of a collector of interesting knives and was immediately transfixed by the koa wood handle folding knife. I love the hook and koa tree etchings on both sides and while I can’t tell where the knife itself is made or the exact steel of the blade it definitely feels like a super high quality piece which is why I bought it. Happy to support local!

Had to treat myself with this purchase, I saw it at the store at the International Market Place, and I didn’t buy, and once I got home from my vacation, I felt regret and knew I had to buy it, it’s beautifully made, it’s very well made, definitely recommend this to everyone, you guys so many beautiful things to buy, and it’s for a great cause.
