Oahu's Diamond Head 12 x 18 Poster
Diamond Head is a volcanic cone on the Hawaiian island of Oahu and is the most popular Hawaii State Park. Hawaiians call it Lēʻahi (brow of the tuna) because of the ridgeline that resembles the tuna fish’s dorsal fin. The name Diamond Head was given to the area when British soldiers who visited in the 19th century thought that the sparkling calcite crystals on the neighboring beach were diamonds.
This poster captures the view of Diamond Head from the popular Waikiki Beach.
