The carving exposes lighter hues beneath the surface, enhancing its depth. It is paired with a recycled large Hawaiian tiger cowrie shell lip, creating a unique, handcrafted piece of wearable art that captures timeless beauty and cultural significance.

Artist's Note:
"My grandmother, Noni Leileihus, loved signing her traditional hawaiian songs. She instilled in me a love for music, and the arts, especially of her beloved island home. My art is dedicated to her.
