great quality. hardware not so much.

the quality of the koa is beautiful, the band is solid and heavy. the pins and little screws unfortunately aren’t, my second day wearing it three screws came loose on the link closest to the watch and fell off my wrist. luckily it landed on the carpet,
found the pins but not the screws. I took the band to a watch repair shop to put in more secure pins.

Aloha Darwin...Thank you so much for your feedback and weʻre happy to hear you appreciate the Koa and look of the band. Iʻm sorry to hear about your experience with the screws. Because the wood expands and contracts with humidity fluxuations the watch is designed with screws. Although not typical, on its journey from very high humidity (Hawaii) to its destination, and the shaking it endures from postal movement, the screws can loosen. I apologize, we should have written that down with the screwdrivers tools that are supplied with your band. Weʻll look into getting that information added. Mahalo!
