This Koa piece marries our love for Hawaiian Koa wood and beauty of black mother of pearl. Both the ocean and land come together in this handmade necklace. The Koa bead is the center point and the black mother of pearl pendant provides the perfect compliment. The soft brown deerskin leather lace makes an already warm piece more interesting. The Koa bead used to make this piece starts off as a square. It is painstakingly tumbled for over three weeks to achieve the final round shape. It is hand finished and assembled by hand with the other components.
