This Hawaiian Koa wood bowl was hand turned by KoaWood Ranch founder Craig Villarrubia. Craig was part of the entire process, from painstaking cutting the tree to preparing the branch and blank, before placing it on the lathe for shaping. The piece is finished with Danish oil and beeswax. Craig's work reflects a contemporary take on the traditional Hawaiian Koa wood calabash bowls.
